A new season,
a new reason for a get-together.
Another reason to pull out my brown transfer-ware.
I've collected a few pieces,
not enough for a full Thanksgiving meal,
but plenty for a cup of tea with a friend.
Candles add just the right , ambiance
along with a small white pumpkin,
all dressed up for the occasion.
Due to a funny mix-up, we had no scones
or muffins or cookies.
But our friendship is made of tough stuff,
and we managed to have a delightful time anyway!
