Fall in the garden

doesn't mean the beauty is gone.

It's just a different kind of lovely.

A quiet beauty, one that you might have to look harder to see.

Crimson rose hips instead of pink blossoms.

Blueberry leaves standing out

instead of blooms.

Spiderwebs shimmering with dewdrops,

stretched between greens.

Even the browning blossoms take on a textured beauty

all their own.

And, as an added bonus,

I don't have to water anymore!
